! To avoid the recording of transitory power levels,
only settings stable for more than 3 seconds will be
recorded.
Suggestions for custom cycle:
- to obtain quick coffee brewing increase the power
level.
- if you want to fill the bottom part of the moka over
the hole of the safety valve, increase the time of the
3° step of the cycle.
- to obtain much more hot coffee increase the time of
2° step for 3-4 cups or 3° step for 6 cups.
Restoring factory auto-moka sequence
It is possible any time to restore the factory auto-
moka sequence.
The hob must be switched on. The cooking zone
must be switched off.
1. Touch the moka key to select the auto-moka
function. Moka led is on and the cooking zone
display alternatively blinks u
symbol and 3 (moka
size sequence).
2. Press the cooking zones (+) or (-) keys to select
the desired moka size sequence (3, 4 or 6).
3. Press simultaneously the cooking zones (+) or (-)
keys (don’t let pass 5 seconds to avoid the function
start). 0 blinks in the cooking zone display and 00 in
the timer displays. The rec indicator led blinks next
to the cooking zone display.
4. Press simultaneously the cooking zones (+) or (-)
keys again. The factory auto-moka sequence for the
selected moka size is restored.
5. The touch pannel will be automatically locked. To
unclock the pannel press and hold the Control Panel
Loock button.
Empty Moka protection
In order to protect the cooktop, in case of empty
moka (not filled with water), the cooktop detect the
situation and switched off the moka cooking zone.
On the cooking zone display blinks “A” symbol, until
the user presses any key.
Power management with Moka
The Cooktop maximum power limit is 2800W and the
maximum power level is reserved for moka cooking
zone when moka function is activated. When some
cooking zone are already switched on, if the total
power is greater than the hob power limit, the moka
function is not allowed, an error beep sounds and
the cooking zone display shows an ‘r’ for 2 seconds.
