ENERGY SAVING TIPS
CARE AND MAINTENANCE
•
The diameter of the cooking utensil's base should match that
of the cooking plate, or be slightly larger - but on no account
smaller.
•
The cooking utensil should have a flat bottom that rests
smoothly on the surface and thus distributes the heat
efficiently and evenly.
•
If possible, keep the pot covered when cooking. This allows
a lower heat setting to be used thus saving energy.
•
If possible, cook vegetables, potatoes, etc. with only a small
amount of water. This cuts down the cooking time.
•
Using a pressure cooker saves even more energy and shortens
the cooking time.
•
Only clean the hob when the cooking zones are cold. Ensure
that the hob is clean before you use it.
•
Clean the hob with a moist sponge or cloth. Remove baked-
on dirt using the supplied scraper tool.
Important:
use the scraper as directed in the enclosed
instructions.
•
Do not use the scraper to clean the framework.
•
Use special products designed for cleaning ceramic glass;
do not use abrasive products
