Before using the glass ceramic hob
To ensure best use of your new
appliance, please read the
operating instructions carefully
and keep them at hand in case of
need.
Installation
Cooking hob
Fit the cooking hob in a
worktop of thickness 30 mm
- 50 mm
Do not place materials
between the hob and oven
(crosspieces, brackets, etc.).
The distance between the
bottom of the glass ceramic
hob and the cabinet or
separating panel must be at
least 25 mm.
If a column unit is to be
installed next to the hob, it
must be kept at least 100 mm
from the edge of the hob.
Make an opening in the worktop,
respecting the dimensions
indicated in the enclosed product
sheet.
Apply the seal supplied around
the hob (unless it has already
been fitted), after cleaning the
surface.
Important
In order to prevent overheating and
related damaging of the electronic
circuits:
Do not install the hob near a
dishwasher or washing
machine, so that the
electronic circuits do not
come into contact with
steam or moisture which
could damage them.
Make sure that the oven
(manufactured by us) has a
cooling fan to protect the
electronic parts
as much as
possible if the hob is
installed above it.
If the temperature of the electronic
circuits exceeds the maximum
permissible value, the hob will
automatically switch off; in this case,
wait a few minutes until the internal
temperature of the electronic
circuits reaches a tolerable level,
when the hob can be switched on
again.
When combining a 900 mm hob and
a 600 mm oven (which must be
manufactured by us and with cooling
fan), access to the bottom of the hob
must be prevented by interposing a
separator.
Do not forget to switch off the
hob. If you inadvertently
forget to do so, the hob has an
automatic switching off device
which is activated after 1 to 6
hours of operation, depending
on the cooking level selected.
