The hob has six assisted cooking functions, controlled
by the two Cookeye® modules or the Clipso Eye
module, which are all provided with the appliance.
SAUCE AND COOKING ON A LOW HEAT
This function is designed for boiling sauces on a low
heat.
MILK
Milk can be heated without boiling over.
WATER
Informs you when the water has reached boiling point
and it is time to add the pasta.
BUTTER
Preheats butter without its altering its properties
before food is added to the pan.
OIL
Preheats oil without altering its properties before food
is added to the pan.
PRESSURE COOKING (WITH CLIPSO EYE)
Enables completely automated pressure cooking. It is
only activated when the Clipso Eye module is used.
Cookeye® function
Cookeye® enables the power of the hotplate to be
automatically controlled via a sensor, and allows the
optimum temperature for the selected cooking
programme to be reached.
Starting the Cookeye® function
! The Cookeye® module is only compatible with
saucepans, frying pans and casseroles in the
Perfection range by Tefal.
1) Clip the Cookeye®
onto the handle of the
cookware, turning it
towards the centre (see
figure).
2) Switch the hob on and place the cookware on the
required cooking zone.
3) Press the red button on the Cookeye®. The power
indicators for the 4 hotplates and the indicator light for
the Cookeye® module will begin to flash.
4) Choose a cooking function by pressing the - and
+ buttons for the appropriate cooking zone, until the
symbol for the required function lights up.
5) According to the function chosen, the power
indicator lights for the hotplate selected flash until the
required temperature is reached. The number of
flashing indicator lights shows the chosen function (see
figure).
